Marital Dissolution Agreement

Marital Dissolution Agreements are agreements entered into by the parties that address all of the financial aspects of the divorce.  An MDA disposes of the parties’ assets and debts and addresses the issue of spousal support.  Such agreements also involve matters of health and life insurance if one spouse is losing coverage as a result of the divorce.  Parties are required to enter into a Marital Dissolution Agreement in Tennessee in order to proceed with an uncontested divorce.
